After the filming of Christ Revealed, we had the opportunity to return to Israel with a tour group of Christ Revealed viewers who wanted to experience the magic of the Holy Land first-hand. It was an amazing experience, and while we were there we were able to capture new footage of the places we visited. It’s not the same as being there, but we hope that these video clips will bring a bit of the beauty and history of Israel to you!
This clip was filmed at the arena in Caesarea. Built by King Herod, this was most likely the location of Paul’s trial…in the video, you can see the very stage where he stood!
Holy Land guide Tisha Michelle shares some interesting details about the city of Caesarea and its role in the Bible, as well as a bit of the history surrounding the area:
The scenery in this location is absolutely amazing, and the historical importance of Caesarea makes it a must-see if you visit the Holy Land!
Very interesting!
Is this arena also where one of the Herods died – after giving a speech the people said, “You speak like a god!” And he acknowledged that he agreed, so he was struck dead?
The film stops after 3+ minutes – I presume more will come in the next several days?
Wonderful, I wish it showed more..Thank you.
Thank you for sharing love to know about biblical times
GODBLESS yous
Ok thank you Me my family friends and the whole world needs almighty GOD but sadly some people don’t know
Thank you for sharing this! I’ve never made it to the historical Israel, although I am fortunately privileged to be a part of the Israel of God (His people)!
Thank you for sharing. It is a beautiful and fascinating place. We were fortunate to travel there last year with our church group. Loved it!
Thank you so very much. These kind of videos bring the things we read in the Bible to life. I hope there is more to this to watch. Again thank you.
Is she seriously wearing a Prince purple rain tee shirt??? Maybe that was filmed on the day of his death??? Knowing the content of that album, I would never be seen in that especially in Christian circles or on camera. Just sayin….
That’s between her and God. You can’t hold her accountable to your standards. I would never wear Nike brand as Nike was a pagan goddess. But that’s me. Not everyone is convicted or is obedient to God about what they watch, listen to, or wear.
thank you for this material. I have actually been to Caesaria
How can i see more? thank you!
Tisha mentioned that King Herod the Great died in 4 BC. Since King Herod spoke to the Magi who were looking for the child born as King of Israel (they journeyed for 2 years after they saw the star) and had the children in Bethlehem killed when the Magi failed to get back to him, the Jesus couldn’t have been born on 1 AD. 🙂
Thank you so much! Please keep posting more so that those who are unable to make the marvelous trip to the Holy Land may do so via your help!
This was our first stop on our Israel trip 3 years ago. Simply amazing! Would love to go back!
