Tour Conditions

 TOUR COST BASIS: Prices Per Person: $XXXXX. from JFK on Turkish Air or $XXXX LAND PACKAGE ONLY, based on Double Occupancy.  There is an Additional fee of $1,205.00 for private rooms.  The tour is based on a minimum of 36 participants.  If the number of participants is not reached, the selling price is subject to increase.  All rates are based on prices in effect at time of printing and are subject to change. Rates could be subject to change due to the fluctuation in the US dollar.  Increase in Security, Air and Fuel charges, when applicable, are the sole responsibility of the passenger.  Airport taxes, fuel and security charges are included in the price of the tour, however are subject to increase until time of ticketing.

HOTELS: Tour based on 5 star/superior deluxe hotels – Inbal Hotel Jerusalem, Dan Panorama Tel Aviv and Ramot, Galilee.  Rates based on double occupancy.  Private rooms are available upon request and availability at an additional $1,205.00.

SIGHTSEEING: By deluxe air-conditioned motor coach as per itinerary including all entrance fees and services of an English-speaking guide on touring days. Sequence and minor adjustments of the itinerary may be changed without notice if deemed necessary. Any omission may be made if deemed necessary by local authorities for security reasons.

BAGGAGE:  A maximum of 1 checked piece, weighing a maximum of 50 pounds, and one carry-on bag which can fit under your seat or in the overhead.

MEALS:  A buffet style Israeli breakfast and dinner are included daily.

LAND ONLY PARTICIPANTS:  Those traveling individually to Israel will be responsible for transfers to and from the airport which can incur up to $200.00 per ride. Group transfers are included in the price and coordinate with group air – Arriving Israel Oct. 2, 2018 at 3:40 pm and departing Israel October 12,2018 at 12:55 am.

NOT INCLUDED:  In addition to the items referenced under the “Not Included” section of the itinerary, the following are also not included; lunches Passport fees, insurance, expenses resulting from illness or accident, loss or damage to luggage, items of a personal nature.

PAYMENT, REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION: A $1,000.00 deposit per person is due upon registration. Deposit is non-refundable after June 29 2018.  Space is limited and on a first call basis.  Final payment is due no later than July 1, 2018. A $50.00 processing fee will be charged for any cancellations. Cancellations that occur after July 1, 2018 are subject to any cancellation fees required by the airlines, tour and land operators. Air is non-refundable after July 1, 2018. Tours Through The Book highly encourages passengers to purchase traveler’s insurance. To obtain full insurance benefits, please sign up no later than 10 days after you make in your initial deposit.

 TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel insurance is not included in the tour price. Travel Insurance, including trip cancellation and travel delay is strongly recommended.   Travel Guard’s Gold or Platinum Policies are most comprehensive.  If purchased within 15 days of your initial trip payment, you may take advantage of their “cancel for any reason” benefits.  VISA REQUIREMENTS: There is no special visa required for U.S., Mexican, or Canadian citizens.  If you are a citizen of another country, you will need to inquire at your nearest Consulate General of Israel.

PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS:  All travelers are required to have a valid passport (at their own expense) with an expiration date at least 6 months past the date of return from Israel.  Find out more information about USA passports HERE.

RESPONSIBILITY: By registering for this tour, I agree that Tours Through The Book, and/or their agents, employees or contractors, and/or their agents act only as agents for the passengers and are not liable for any loss, injury, sickness or damage to me or my belongings or otherwise, in connection with any accommodations, transportation or services, resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences beyond their control. Neither will they be responsible for any accident, guarantee, strike, political unrest or act of God, war, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle of through neglect or default of any hotel proprietor or hotel service or for any other engaged in carrying out the purpose for which tickets coupons are issued.  In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or well-being of the passengers for any reason whatsoever to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to the operators.  Additional expenses, if any, shall be made by the passengers; conversely, refund will be made to the passengers if any savings are affected thereby.  The right is reserved to withdraw any or all tours should conditions warrant, also to decline to accept passengers or members of the tour.  In such instances, full equitable amount will be refunded.  The right is reserved to cancel any tour prior to departure in which case full refund will constitute full settlement to the passenger.  No refund will be made for any unused portion of the tour.  Baggage is at the owner’s risk entirely.  The issuance and acceptance of voucher or ticket shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions.  The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act omission or event during the time the passengers are not onboard their planes or conveyances.  The passenger contact in use by the airline contracting when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger.  The airlines have the right to change or cancel flights. Any seat requests are not guaranteed. The service of any International Air Transport Association carrier may be used for these tours.  Time schedules, travel documents and compliance with customs regulations, are the responsibility of the individual tourist.  Payment of deposit for this tour signifies full understanding and acceptance of the above-mentioned conditions.
